Okay this is going to be a submit-and-run I'm afraid but I will eventually get round to answering my over 11,000 notifications, haha. This was started about a month ago and then abandoned until this weekend when I finished it quite quickly. c: Just a speedpaint using a reference to try and get me back into digital painting! It was really fun to experiment with different brushes, especially.
I'll make a journal about this in the next few days, but the thing is I've been insanely busy with exams, and now I've only got two left I should have a little more time for dA (hopefully).
I'm sorry I've been absent for the past few months but I'm really really hoping that will change soon.

You can definitely tell you got your peace and quiet out of this. The gold tones are great, and the pop of flower colour in the front is awesome. Looks like an acrylic painting too, so you did a great job with the brushwork. 
Im a little late with this, so Im assuming: congrats on being done with exams and all the hard work!
