Note that this was a really quick piece as a break from this art contest thing I'm doing. Didn't take too long - completed it in one sitting in the middle of the night, haha. That's why it's not so complex.

This piece was inspired by several things - I found out yesterday that Neil Armstrong, the first man on the moon*, has sadly died at the age of 82 (R.I.P), plus this was partly inspired by a book called Cosmic I first read a few years ago. It's the kind of book that's really easy to read but really funny and relaxing and the kind of book I go back to time and again - especially if I'm not feeling great about something - and I know it'll cheer me up, whilst getting something new from it every time.
Also, just as I was starting this my iPod shuffled 'Galaxies' by Owl City which was appropriate. xD
